A dance style that took to the streets a bang during the 1970s is breakdancing. Breakdance is marked by its high energy and convoluted movements. It draws inspiration from styles of hip-hop, acrobatics, gymnastics, and even martial arts. The beauty of this form of dance lies in its coordination, rhythmic movements, and trendy presentation. The participants of breakdance are referred to as breakdancers or b-boy/b-girl. The accompaniment of funky music such as hip-hop, soul funk, or even jazz add allure to the form of breakdance.
